The demand abroad for U.S. goods has increased dramatically, especially with the weak U.S. dollar. Developing international business is not only important to our U.S. economy but can also position your company for future growth. While shipping internationally can seem like a daunting task, there are ways to simplify the process and make it profitable. We will explain the shipping process, packing requirements, as well as the information required to complete the necessary paperwork. We would also like to use this webinar to brainstorm ways of increasing our U.S. exports.

Presenter:
Emily D. Hutchens has been in the furniture industry for many years. She worked as a customer service and sales trainer for a large furniture retailer and focused on training the staff in dealing with international customers. In 2003 Emily began arranging shipments for international clients. It was then that she realized the potential that abounds in the international markets. She now works with AMPAC Forwarding in High Point, NC consolidating and shipping to individuals as well as businesses all over the world. Emily does not allow the word “can’t” in her office, but enjoys the challenge of “finding a way” to get the seemingly impossible done.
