Tuesday, March 23, 2010

The AHFA is currently developing a Product Certification methodology as part of the overall Sustain (SBD) program. Member companies will be required to complete EFEC registration and SBD applying for Product Certification.

The purpose of the Product Certification is to provide the consumer with information on the Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects of a particular product or product line. A Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) is a prerequisite of the Product Certification.

This webinar provides an update on the status of the Product Certification project including the preliminary approach to conducting the LCI and how the specific Health, Safety, and Environmental information will be communicated to the consumer.
